Marked out and cut the hole for the gas hob. #kitchen
After the larder was installed I cut out a section of the countertop to wrap around the back. I’ll keep this off cut for later so stay tuned. #kitchendesign #diy

We lifted the countertop up on the units temporarily to make sure we had the right spacing and level.

Our countertop got delivered . Now I can start on the second half of our galley kitchen.

Our builder came and installed our stove. Now that it’s in we can install the second part of our kitchen.

Wall units are up. Sinse we have 60mm of insulated plaster board on these walls. I had to put in extra long raw plugs with super long screws to secure the French cleats to the wall.

The fridge is in and the counter is cut to size. I will wait untill tye rest if the units are in before installing the sink.

The first unit I’m fitting is the fridge. The wall isn’t perfectly vertical so I will have to cut a filler pice afterwards to make it look pretty.

This is the corner of our kitchen. I put the sink unit in first to work out the spacing for the drain and water.

This is the space at the end of of the kitchen where the vent for the stove and the drain forbthe kitchen are going. We need to have this finished and closed before I can start fitting the kitchen units.
